Eroica Britannia tickets go on sale from 6 December
The wait is almost over! Tickets for Eroica Britannia 2022 will go on sale from midday on Monday 6 December.
We're inviting cycling fans to polish their bikes and gear up for an unforgettable weekend of family-friendly fun, cycling heritage, live music and sensational food and drink over the weekend of 6-7 August 2022.
The event is a celebration of Sussex and cycling’s glorious past, with three epic rides across the South Downs, starting and finishing at Goodwood’s famous Motor Circuit.
It's worth buying your tickets early, as the event qualifies for the UK Government's 'creative industry tax relief' with a reduced VAT rate of 12.5% up to 31 March 2022.
At the current reduced VAT rate, we have a range of ticket options starting from £38 for a day ticket, £56 for a weekend and £70 for ‘The Ride’ ticket, which includes weekend event access (prices will return to the full VAT rate from 1 April 2022).
Children aged 12 and under go free, and Young Person tickets are available from £19 for those aged between 13 and 21 years of age. On-site camping will be available for festival visitors looking to make a weekend of it with friends and family.
Campsite ticket holders will be able to pitch up on Friday afternoon, before the festival gets underway on Saturday. Expect live bands, DJs, pop-up shops, cocktail bars, and food stalls showcasing the very best local produce. Competitive riders will be able to race on the Motor Circuit, and there will be a traffic-free Family Ride for all ages to enjoy.
On Sunday, there will be a choice of three Classic Rides devised by our route-planning guru, Marco Mori. The shorter route will cover 25 miles, while the longer 60-mile and 100-mile options will be true tests of riders and their machines. As ever, the Classic Rides are reserved for pre-1987 bikes, with riders in period cycling attire.
All the routes will take in Goodwood’s iconic Hill Climb and pass the historic 1982 UCI World Championships finish line at the top of Kennel Hill. Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the World Championships at Goodwood, with the men's race won by Giuseppe Saronni of Italy and the women's title going to Mandy Jones of Great Britain.
From midday on Monday 6 December tickets will be available here on Goodwood.com or by calling the ticket sales office on 01243 755055.
We can't wait to welcome riders and festival-goers to Eroica Britannia's new home!
