The Kennels Dog Show 2018

With over 450 Members and 200 four-legged friends joining us for a fun-filled day on the Duchess’ Paddock, our 2018 Dog Show turned out to be the best to date.

The Putting Green was bustling with many different stalls, for both dogs and their owners, including Dogs Trust, Slurps for Dogs, dog therapist; Aspen Crest and dog grooming specialist, Dogzillian. Members and their dogs were able to take a break from the sunshine and browse the Dog Show market, picking up the pawfect present and even some doggy cupcakes!

New for 2018, we were delighted to welcome Allen Parton, founder of The Kennels’ charity of the year; Hounds for Heroes. Allen and his two extra fluffy assistants, EJ and Rookie, gave us an inspiring insight into how and why Hounds for Heroes was founded, and the work that they do to help service men and women in the UK. It was a pleasure to award Allen and his team an amazing £800 as a result of our Dog Memberships for this year. Hounds for Heroes will continue to be our chosen charity of the year next year, as voted by our Members.
