Beat the Christmas Blues
Beat the bulge - Have you got that feeling of overeating and a desire to shift some of those extra roast potatoes after Christmas? HIIT training has proved to be one of the best calorie-busting workouts. 30-minute intense sessions will help you get back in shape in no time at all.
Set weekly goals - Don't try to overhaul your diet overnight. If you make too many changes at once, there is a high chance that your body will react differently to how you expect and you will find it harder to maintain your new routine. Try to make one change at a time, such as reducing the amount of bread that you eat every week.
Watch the alcohol - Remember that alcohol is a source of calories. A glass of beer has 150 calories; a glass of wine, 85. Even worse offenders are creamy cocktails, such as brandy alexanders and mudslides—equivalent to drinking a rich dessert. The bottom line: If you're trying to lose weight, stick with water.
Seek advice - If you are unsure of the best ways to train, or even how to get started - let us help! We are more than happy to help wherever we can and would love to assist you in achieving your goals.
New year – new workout - Have you ever considered trying something completely new? Many of us can get stuck in the same workout routine, day in, day out. If we don’t change, our bodies won’t change either. Try to change your workout every 4-6 weeks.
