Why drink more water?
- Helps with weight loss – Whilst it may not be your first point of call if you’re wanting to shed a few pounds, drinking water can actually assist weight loss. Before meal times is another key factor as it fills your stomach, therefore reducing the amount you think you need to eat to feel full.
- Healthy skin – After a long day, our skin can sometimes feel dry and our eyes darker and sunken. De-hydration of the skin can cause premature aging, so even if you’re not feeling thirsty, drinking water is important in maintaining that healthy glow.
- Gets rid of toxins - Water keeps things flowing around the body, therefore aiding the body's natural detoxification process. Flush away that extra helping of dinner you had on Tuesday, or those sneaky afternoon snacks that you needed to get you to the end of the day!
- Boost energy - Hydrating your body increases its power to work to its full capacity. Not only will you avoid feeling tired, but you'll never have an excuse to be lazy again!
- Improves productivity – Closing relating to our energy levels, putting a spring in your step will help you to be more productive. Whether it’s a little spot of housing cleaning, or a vital report that you need to finish writing before the end of the week, make sure you keep your fluids up!
