Piper Super Cub
Fly either the ultra-modern Cessna or classic Piper Super Cub to introduce you to flying. View the beautiful skies above Goodwood and the Sussex countryside and fall in love with flying.

Participant guidelines
Maximum weight 18 stone for the Cessna, 15 stone for the Piper Super Cub. Maximum height 6'6". All students and passengers must have a good understanding of the English language for briefing and instruction purposes. Everyone flying must be in reasonable health and able to climb into and out of the aircraft. Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to fly.
There are no age restrictions on our flights, but if you are looking to do a LAPL or PPL qualification following your experience, you will need to be over 17, although you can log lessons from 14.
Weather
We can do everything we can to ensure that you have a great day, but we cannot influence the weather! You are welcome to contact us the day before your flight to confirm the likelihood of your flight taking place, but the final decision will be made on the day by your Instructor. You will be informed if there is any change to the plan.
Duration
Expect to be at Goodwood Aerodrome for an hour, which will include a briefing and 30 minutes in the aircraft - 20 minutes flight time. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time for the essential safety briefing.
Spectators
There is plenty of space for friends and family to come and watch you take off and land. We do ask that children are supervised at all times.
Dress Code
There is no need to wear any special clothing but comfort is definitely the order of the day. Trousers and flat shoes must be worn. Make sure you bring your sunglasses too!

2. Once you receive your voucher
Your gift will be sent within three working days of purchase. Inside you'll find your Goodwood gift voucher which includes a map of the Aerodrome and what you need to bring with you.
3. Book your experience
Please call Goodwood Flying School on 01243 755066 and make your booking. Your voucher will be valid for 12 months from date of purchase and your voucher must be booked and used within this time.
4. Enjoy your experience
The time has come to enjoy your flying experience at Goodwood Aerodrome. On the morning of your flight, please call the Aerodrome to confirm your flight time and to check the conditions.
