A network of paths through the woods means spectators can get up close to the noise and sideways fury of the cars as they tackle the special stage against the clock. The paddock area, meanwhile, provides a great opportunity for enthusiasts to inspect the cars and meet the teams, including many famous drivers, in that friendly spirit that rallying does so well.
It is essentially the opposite of the Cartier 'Style et Luxe' Lawn. Where the Cartier Lawn offers a serene contemplation of static automotive design, the Rally Stage is a raucous celebration of what happens when you take a powerful car off the red carpet and off-road.
The Rally Stage can be found towards the top of the Hillclimb. Tractors will shuttle people between the main event site and the Rally Stage throughout the weekend.
