With the weather we have been experiencing this winter, none of us is getting as much flying as we would like to.

However, looking on the positive side, it is a great time of year to get some studying done! Passing a few exams now will mean you can press on with the flying when the better spring weather comes, rather than being stuck in the books.
Studying by yourself can be lonely though, and it can be hard to remain motivated. To help with this, we are starting the Ground School Open Surgery at the Flying School. Instructors will be available to help with any questions you may have on specific topics or discuss your progress with your studies. We are aiming for an informal, social atmosphere, so feel free to chat with your fellow students too. You may even find a new flying buddy for when you get your licence! Tea and coffee will be available.
The cost for this is £10 per person for the hour, please could you let us know if you plan to attend. There will not be a set subject for the session, but if there is anything you would particularly like to go over, please mention that too, and we can prepare some assistance for you. The first session will be held on Saturday 3 February from 1700 to 1800, at the Flying School.
