    A Night at the Museum

    Tuesday 18:30 - 20:30

    Location: Tangmere Museum

    RAF Tangmere was once the jewel in the RAF crown. Join us for a guided tour around the museum after hours and get exclusive access to the story of the squadron and personnel who flew from the station. From the early days in 1918 through the ’20s and ’30s when the airfield hosted some of the top RAF squadrons and their aerobatic teams. Learn about the role Tangmere played in the Battle of Britain, its contribution to the air war over Europe, its connection with the RAF High-Speed Flight and record-breaking aircraft amongst other stories. Also, you also have a chance to get up close and personal to some of the RAF’s iconic aircraft, the Hunter, Lightning, Meteor and some world record holders to boot. A world-class museum with some unique artefacts and stories.

    Freddie March Spirit of Aviation Launch Party

    Location: Goodwood Aerodrome

    The Freddie March Spirit of Aviation party is a must-attend event that starts the Revival weekend.

    Enjoy an exclusive preview of the aircraft on display, with the opportunity to meet the pilots and talk about the history of the aeroplanes. Get close to these magnificent flying machines without the crowds, meet like-minded people while enjoying Champagne and a selection of delicious food.

    Each aircraft on display is hand-picked for its public interest, historical value, aesthetic appeal or quality of restoration. Many of the owners and pilots will be at the party, offering the opportunity to learn first-hand what it’s like to fly these iconic aircraft.
