On Friday 8th November, Golf At Goodwood members took on the staff in what was a hotly contested competition.

Members v Staff
Overall, there were 16 players from each team and they went off in a shotgun start which meant everyone could celebrate together at the end and share their stories, missed putts and great shots from the match.
Sammi Fridi and James Ashman took on Sam Caplin and Henny Brown and were victorious taking the match 4&3. Academy Manager, Chris McDonnell, and Stephen Tennant also won their match by 4&2 against Damien Simpson and Clive Caplin.
Ken Gold and James Beck took on Tim Martin and Lee Campany, but at the end of 18 holes, the match was tied, as was the game between Max Tilley, Gary Welch, Ian Will and Ray Pink.
Jim Plunkett and John Hall were victorious against Head Greenkeeper Rob Dyer and Matt Kennedy winning 2&1. Peter Griffin and Pauline Senior took the glory against Joe Healy and Keith Narey.
Overall, the staff came out on top with Matt Lavington and Beth Yeoman winning against Andy Smith and Linda Salero and Danny Carter and James Lynch taking the match 3&2 against Ralph Baker and Chris Mclarnon. Overall the staff were victorious by 5 points to 3!
