Revival Golf
Players were treated to bespoke hip flasks, bag tags, markers and balls before collecting their hickory clubs which were provided by South of England Hickory Golf.
It was a beautiful day out there and members and their guests took to their woody buggies for an 8:30am shotgun start, with the sound of cars racing around the Motor Circuit just a few miles down the road.
The format of the day was a fourball betterball with men playing from orange tees and ladies from the green tees. Guests got to enjoy two lunch stations whilst out on the course and were treated to gin and tonic when they reached the first tee.
Those who played were given the chance to beat our very own James Braid on the 12th, as well as take part in some other on course games including nearest the pin and longest drive.
After their round, everyone enjoyed a well-earned drink, a chance to meet others who played and celebrate the successes of the day with our prize giving ceremony. Overall, Jules Keane and Philip Higgins were our winners! Best dressed was awarded to George Goddard.
It was then onto an afternoon at the Revival for our participants, catching a vintage taxi at The Kennels down to the Motor Circuit.
We hope everyone enjoyed their day and look forward to next year!
