39 ladies took to The Park Course to celebrate Women's Golf Day
On Tuesday 7 June, Golf At Goodwood celebrated International Women's Golf Day. With an 18-hole competition taking place on The Park course and taster sessions happening at The Academy, there was something for everyone to participate in to celebrate women in golf.
The weather wasn't kind to us, but 39 of our ladies and their guests took to the course for a fun 18-hole Texas Scramble competition. With the rain pouring, our ladies were able to take a short break on the 1st tee to enjoy a Goodwood Gin and Tonic to celebrate the day.
After they completed their round, the ladies headed to the Goodwood Hotel to enjoy afternoon tea and bubbles put on by the team.
Whilst the ladies were out on the course, our PGA Professionals were hosting Get into Golf taster sessions for women to learn the basics about the game.
Overall, we had over 50 ladies throughout the day celebrating women in golf! Well done to everyone who got involved and those who made the day happen.
