Forest school offers, children, young people and adults regular opportunities to achieve, and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a natural woodland environment. Led by trained professionals, activities may include shelter building, making campfires and cooking, tool use and woodland exploration. Seeley Copse is used regularly by school, University and special needs groups for Forest School. In addition, Chichester Forest Schools run a Babes in the Woods session for pre-school families on Wednesday mornings during term time and some activity days in the school holidays.
Why not get the family and friends out to the farm this Sunday afternoon – forecast is fairly good, although wellies might be useful, especially if you want to see the pigs! A fairly easy walk but partly on woodland track and field – a tough buggy could cope. Details below, no need to book.
