Like me, you too will surely be saddened by the yesterday’s news that James Dyson’s much mooted, long awaited and ever-so secret electric car project has been cancelled. I’m not sure why but this seems somehow sadder to me than the death of a company that’s been in the market for decades but whose time has now come. I guess it’s like people: there’s a certain comfort in having had a good innings.
