
A tantalising array of thoroughly thoroughbred pre-1966 classic motor cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles are already confirmed for this coming Sunday’s ‘Thoroughbred Sunday’ Breakfast Club, being held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit on 2nd August from 08:00 to 12:00. As with all Goodwood Breakfast Club meetings, entry to the event is free and open to all to enjoy a tasty breakfast, along with some exceptional machinery.
Confirmed Breakfast Club entries so far for this Sunday include a line-up of rare and intriguing pre-war thoroughbreds, including a Le Mans-winning style Bentley Speed Six, a Ford Model T, an uncommon 1920s Alvis 16.95 prototype, plus an imposing 1930s Wolseley Super Six.
Post-war thoroughbreds set for display on the Goodwood grid include some exceptional and exotic 1950s cars, such as a stunning Cisitalia 202MM, a Jaguar C-type, some Aston Martin DB2s, a Healey Silverstone, MG TA, Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith, Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, Lotus Elite, Rover P4, Austin A35, Alvis TD21, MGA, Jaguar XK140 and an Austin-Healey 100 Le Mans.
The 1960s will be represented by numerous examples of Ferraris, Jaguars, Lancias, TVRs, Pontiacs, Porsches, Maseratis, Minis, Citroens, Buicks, an exciting Bizzarrini Strada, Ford Lotus Cortina, Alfa Romeo Guilia Sprint GTA, Lotus Elan, Triumph TR4, Aston Martin DB4, and a trio of unusual and rare Fiats, a Dino 2000, 600D Multipla and an Abarth 1000 OTR Bertone prototipo, which we can not wait to see in the metal.
