With the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard out of the way, this feast of historic motoring is the perfect early warm-up for Goodwood’s next major event – the Revival is just a few weeks away.
If you head down to the Goodwood Motor Circuit this Sunday you’ll be met with what should be one of the best selections of classic road cars we’ve ever been able to bring together. The list of cars checked in so far is quite a thing of beauty. We’ve got Aston Martins of all varieties (DB4, DB5, DB6, you name it) Jaguars from saloon to sportscar, and even a stunning Lamborghini Miura S all accredited for this weekend.
But don’t worry if you’re a fan of more egalitarian motoring. We’ll also be celebrating 60 years of the Mini with a special display outside the Jackie Stewart Pavilion (where as usual you can tuck into a delicious breakfast while you watch the world go by) and the circuit will be littered with the usual Classic Car Sunday array of MGs B, C and A, Triumphs from Stag to TR2, Lotuses and more.
