Can you believe it has been two months since we last set our alarm clocks early ready to head over to the Goodwood Motor Circuit for a Sunday morning at Breakfast Club? Well it has, and that means only one thing… this weekend is Classic Car Sunday!
With the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard out of the way, this feast of historic motoring is the perfect early warm-up for Goodwood’s next major event – the Revival is just a few weeks away.
If you head down to the Goodwood Motor Circuit this Sunday you’ll be met with what should be one of the best selections of classic road cars we’ve ever been able to bring together. The list of cars checked in so far is quite a thing of beauty. We’ve got Aston Martins of all varieties (DB4, DB5, DB6, you name it) Jaguars from saloon to sportscar, and even a stunning Lamborghini Miura S all accredited for this weekend.
But don’t worry if you’re a fan of more egalitarian motoring. We’ll also be celebrating 60 years of the Mini with a special display outside the Jackie Stewart Pavilion (where as usual you can tuck into a delicious breakfast while you watch the world go by) and the circuit will be littered with the usual Classic Car Sunday array of MGs B, C and A, Triumphs from Stag to TR2, Lotuses and more.
We think you should keep an eye out for a wonderful 1937 Peugeot 402 on the grid, the eye-catching Alfa Romeo Montreal a little further down, an amazing array of Ferraris and, finding a space somewhere on site, the giant Lagonda.
Remember that to attend Classic Car Sunday you do need to pre-register for a completely free ticket. For more information please click here!
