2013 Festival of Speed Stages the World’s Greatest Dynamic Showcase of New Supercars
The Goodwood Festival of Speed (11-14 July 2013) has firmly established itself as the very best place to see the latest and fastest supercars from around the globe. In association with Michelin, the Supercar Run is unique in providing a dynamic environment in which the public can view new models for the first time.
MICHELIN SUPERCAR RUN
Unlike a conventional motor show, the Michelin Supercar Run affords a fantastic opportunity not only to exhibit the very latest and best supercars, but also to show them in action on the Goodwood hillclimb. Last year saw more than 25 UK public debuts out of a 50 car field, and this year’s entry is looking even stronger.
For 2013 the Michelin Supercar Run promises to gather the very latest and most exciting supercars from all around the world. Cars expected to make their World and/or UK dynamic debuts will include the very latest models from McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Bugatti, Jaguar and many others.
In all, as many as 50 of the latest supercars will be in action on the Hill; a real feast for the senses of the expected 185,000-plus visitors to the Festival of Speed and Moving Motor Show. A number of other important UK debuts will also take place in the First Glance class at Goodwood, with brand new models located near the Cricket Pitch, and expected to include the new VUHL Mexican sports car world debut, plus the Skoda Octavia vRS and latest Lexus IS, among others.
Away from the Supercar Run, over a dozen other new vehicles are expected to be making their UK public debut on the Hill as part of the Goodwood Moving Motor Show, more details of which will be confirmed in the following weeks.
