Put yourself in the mind of a world class racing team in the 1950s. You want to get your cars from factory to circuit as fast as possible and, despite the fact there are no speed limits, trucks are slow and cumbersome beasts.
So what do you do? Build your own high-speed transporter capable of over 100mph. That’s what Mercedes-Benz did, and created this incredible streamlined flatbed. Well, one just like it.
