PUBLIC NOTICE: Please take extra care when driving to and from the Festival of Speed. The Festival is for speed; not the surrounding villages.
When travelling to the Festival of Speed, there is inevitably going to be some traffic no matter what time you arrive, due to the sheer volume of cars that are heading for our beautiful corner of West Sussex at the same time. Please allow plenty of time to get here.
We ask that you remain patient and follow the yellow signs and the guidance of our safety staff, as they will direct you to the nearest parking areas. We have enough room for all of you, don’t worry!
Driving to Goodwood
Aside from the usual FOS traffic, we have been made aware that there is an Armed Forces Day taking place in Guildford on Saturday, so anyone arriving from that direction should take a moment to read this advice and potentially amend their route accordingly.
For information on how to get here, please see our Getting to Goodwood page.
Other modes of transport
If you prefer to use public transport, you can get a train, bus or coach to Chichester Railway Station and a shuttle bus (Service 902) will be running from there every 30 minutes between 0700 and 1930hrs. Please note that from 1400 buses will run from the bus station in Chichester. This shuttle bus service costs £5 for a single, or £6 for a return ticket.
You can cycle to the event, but we do not allow people to enter the site with a bike. There are cycle racks at Gate 2 where you can lock up your bike – please bring your own lock.
