It has become a tradition for the winning car from Le Mans to hot-foot it across the channel barely two weeks later to show off in front of the FoS crowds while still covered in the battle scars from the world’s greatest motor race.
This year was no different, as Porsche celebrated their first overall Le Mans win since 1998 by bringing the #19 Porsche 919 to Goodwood. To celebrate this momentous occasion they put together the video we’ve shared above.
In it you will see some behind-the-scenes action as well as Brendan Hartley’s run up the hillclimb in the winning 919, which was driven in La Sarthe by Nico Hulkenberg, Earl Bamber and Nick Tandy.
