Ever since Chris Harris had a spin in the latest version of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS we’ve been eagerly awaiting its first appearance in West Sussex.
Where else is better to show off the prowess of the most focussed version of the latest iteration of the 911 than a certain 1.16 miles of tarmac?
And who better to introduce the car to us than the man behind it – Porsche Manager High Performance Cars Andreas Preuninger?
In the video, made by Porsche, Preuninger talks us through the design and performance of the GT3 RS before taking to the hill in the car himself, obviously still attired in a crisp white shirt.
We don’t have a time for his run up the hill, but watching the on board footage it seems like he wasn’t hanging around as he made his way through the Festival of Speed crowds. Maybe next year they should enter the timed shootout…
