Following the huge response to the inaugural demonstration class of half-a-dozen drifting cars at last year’s Festival of Speed, more of these lively and smokey drifters will be returning to Goodwood to thrill and delight the crowds once again.

World's First F1 Drift Car To Slide Into FoS!
Six very varied drifting machines will tackle the famous Festival of Speed hillclimb, going sideways much o the time with great plumps of tyre smoke.
Back by popular demand will be Monster Energy’s Irish drifter, Derek ‘Buttsy’ Butler, lighting up the hill in his twin-turbo twin-cam 24-valve Toyota Soarer. Better known in the UK as the Lexus SC, this rear-wheel-drive Toyota has a limited slip differential with Buttsy getting the most out of this loud V8.
Also back for more at Goodwood will be ‘Mad’ Mike Whiddett, who hit the headlines from Freestyle MotoX in his 534 bhp ‘MadBul’ Mazda FD RX-7 by climbing the fearsome Crown Range in his native New Zealand in 2013. This summer will be Mad Mike’s third visit to the Festival, where was awarded the ‘Most Thrilling Driver’ prize on his 2013 Goodwood debut.
These instant ‘Festival Drifting Legends’ will be joined burning rubber at Goodwood by Graham McNamara in a Nissan R35 GT-R, Vaughn Gittin Junior in his new Ford Mustang RTR, and Luke Woodham, which promises to be a spectacle not to be missed. Seeing Buttsy Butler drifting his special 2011 Sauber F1 race car will be memorable sight as well, with the smell of burning rubber remaining in your nostrils will you still recall this amazing Festival moment.
