At previous Goodwood events my selection has tended to be a bit less on the racing side and more focused on the people and scenes in the paddocks, however for FoS I wanted to flip that on its head. After covering the Moving Motor Show on the Thursday my cameras didn’t really come off a 1/20th shutter speed unless I was in the paddocks.
Particular highlights for me include having my nostrils filled with the acrid smell of burning rubber after a little drifting session down at the motor circuit with Mad Mike and seeing Kenny Bräck storm past the Flint Wall during the shootout in the new McLaren P1 LM. The latter provided me with probably my favourite photo of the event.
I could moan about the rain but at the end of the day it’s only a bit of water, when you’re surrounded by some of the nicest cars ever made it’s a bit hard to complain about anything.
