Jota Sport, the small endurance racing team from rural Kent, took on the challenge of the Le Mans 24-hour and claimed a 1-2 victory in the hotly contested LMP2 class. What's more, it was within an hour of the overall times of the outright winning Porsche. Just two weeks after that victory, the team will appear at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.

Jota's Le Mans winners are coming to FOS!
Jota ran the Jackie Chan DC Racing cars at Le Mans a couple of weeks ago, its victory being the team's second in four years. Back in 2014, Jota drafted in Oliver Turvey at the last minute. Marc Gene, who had been scheduled to drive, was an Audi reserve and had to move to German team on the Thursday before the race. Turvey replaced him and was part of the the line-up that took a class victory.
David Clark, Director of Jota Sport said, “For the second time in four years, we are very proud to be honoured by Lord March in appearing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to commemorate our stunning success at Le Mans. It’s extra special for us, as Jota Sport are a local team from Tunbridge Wells.”
Continuing the Le Mans theme at this year's FoS are the mighty Porsche and Aston Martin works teams, who took overall and GTE Pro victories respectively.
