The 200mph cars each represents a true Peak of Performance, in line with the FOS theme of 2017, and in some cases offers fans the first opportunity to see the cars up close in the UK.
The line-up, headlined by the astonishing Aston Martin Valkyrie, will all be on display on the main Michelin stand overlooking the Hillclimb course.
Few cars sum up “peak of performance” as completely as the Valkyrie, the supercar dream of F1 design legend Adrian Newey brought to life by Aston Martin in conjunction with Red Bull Advanced Technologies. One hundred and fifty of the 900bhp, 6.5-litre V12 hypercars are due to be built from next year.
The new Aston is a sensational looker in the flesh, compact and delicate even, but with the aim of being as fast as an LMP1 car on a circuit. At FoS you’ll be able to compare and contrast it with a real LMP1 car also on the Michelin stand: the Le Mans-winning Porsche 919 Hybrid. Both look like they are doing 200mph just standing still!
