And now, the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard is embracing that technology by welcoming the all-new Mahindra Racing M4Electro set to spearhead season four of the series, beginning in December.
Top Formula E team Mahindra Racing, which recently took its maiden victory in Berlin with Swede Felix Rosenqvist, will tackle the famous Hillclimb course among the timed entries.
On hand to demonstrate the revolutionary machine will be Rosenqvist’s team mate Nick Heidfeld. And the German is no stranger to the Festival of Speed. His 41.6-second climb, back in 1999 aboard Mika Häkkinen’s ’98 World Championship-winning McLaren MP4-13, remains the outright record on the 1.1-mile course.
