WRC and WRX legend Petter Solberg to star at FOS
&width=1600)
Solberg, 44, clinched a total of 13 WRC victories in a career spanning fourteen years, including winning the 2003 World Championship, before switching to WRX and running his own team to two Championships for himself and a further two for fellow Swede Johan Kristoffersson.
Now Solberg is to step away from full-time World Championships after his team took a sabatical from WRX at the end of its successful 2018 season, and he will be visiting the Goodwood Festival of Speed with his incredible Volkswagen Polo Supercar to star in the brand new The Arena area.
Speaking about his visit to West Sussex Solberg said: “One of the best things about Goodwood is the different cars that come to the event. It’s amazing. So many! You see everything from the oldest Formula 1 car to Volkswagen’s ID R.
“Me? I’ll be driving Volkswagen Motorsport’s Polo R Supercar, and maybe some other cool cars...”
