We’re now on the final countdown to SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard, with Goodwood’s premiere online event just a week and a half away. And in true GRR spirit, we’re looking back at footage from previous events, psyching ourselves up for a cacophony of noise and the omnipresent stench of Castrol R. In fact we’re so excited for the first Goodwood event of 2020 that we can barely sit still.

One of the videos we’ve stumbled upon is this epic Kenny Bräck, McLaren F1 GTR Longtail Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard Timed Shootout run from 2014. Hold on to your hat as the Indy 500 winner and Goodwood legend takes to the hillclimb in an attempt to beat Sébastien Loeb for the fastest run of the weekend. Watch as the F1 GTR flies up the Hill at a blistering pace, its BMW V12 screaming as Bräck winds it up through the gears.
