Machines like this Jaguar XJR-12. The car that won Le Mans in 1990, which Karun was lucky enough to be allowed to hurl up the Goodwood Hill in 2011 – the same year he raced a Lotus F1 car at the German Grand Prix.
Out of the two, we imagine the XJR-12 was the more thrilling experience. Powered by a bonkers 7.0-litre V12 engine it had around 720PS and could do an amazing 230mph down Le Mans’ famous Mulsanne Straight. Karun wasn’t scared to put all that power down at Goodwood either, throwing the XJR-12 up the hill with abandon. And it looks glorious in the all-purple version of the Jag’s iconic Silk Cut livery.
