All eyes were on the Hill as cars from all eras gathered in the holding area for the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. Anticipation built as cars as diverse as a pre-war Delage Bequet, BMW M1 Procar and SCG 007 LMH took their turns to race the stopwatch.

Gallery: The Timed Shootout at FOS 2021
&width=1600)
The threat of rain kept things interesting, but in the end the surface remained fairly consistent througout. We've compiled a gallery of some of the cars were there to set a time. The excitement wasn't the preserve of the sharp end: watching the 1914 Mercedes-Benz overseering through the first corner was a sight to behold, as was Nick Swift's Mini 1275GT as it cornered on three wheels.
In the end, it came down to a straight fight between the McLaren 720S GT3X of Rob Bell and Travis Pastrana's heaviy modified Subaru WRX STI. You can find the full results table here [LINK]
