Revival Snapper's Selection ‑ Tom Shaxson

After every Goodwood event we like to invite our favourite photographers to pick their best shots from a fantastic weekend and tell us a little bit about their experience shooting at Goodwood. The 2015 Revival is no different, so here GRR present our first Revival Snapper’s Selection, from our own Tom Shaxson.

Revival 2015

‘The Revival has been my favourite Goodwood event for as long as I can remember. It’s been an important social event for my family over the years and we’ve been attending since the first one in 1998 (even if I was three at the time…)

‘This was my second year working for Goodwood at the Revival, but my first concentrating solely on photography. My highlight of this year’s event had to be meeting and photographing Peter Brock, the lead designer of the 6 Shelby Daytonas. He was extremely generous with his time and happy to be photographed and to share the story of the Daytonas, which I found fascinating.

‘The racing was, as expected, spectacular and I relished the opportunity to be trackside capturing the unfolding drama over the course of what was a truly amazing weekend. My favourite photo from the weekend is the BMW 1800 Ti taking a dusty detour coming out of the final chicane.’
