‘This year I covered my 4th Goodwood Revival in a row after my first invite in 2012.
‘As usual the whole event left me overwhelmed and I spent three busy days non-stop running around from one highlight to the next. So it wasn’t difficult to pick out 24 of my favourite images – the only difficulty keeping it down to just 24.
‘What I did really struggle with was to come up with a few words to go with this selection, because I felt I was repeating myself too much and using too many superlatives.
‘Surely the event can’t blow my mind every year? Even more so when I have grown a fairly good understanding of what to expect.
‘So I had another look at my selected images, which include the unforgettable St Marys Trophy race, the Hayden v McWilliams duel, a few Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe celebration moments, Sir Jackie Stewart and Dario Franchitti reliving the Goodwood lap record, Bobby Verdon Roe in the Dino striking once again, a goodbye glimpse of the Vulcan, the Gullwing Mercedes-Benz spitting flames, the unique atmosphere of the RAC TT, the Bruce McLaren tribute, Marino Franchitti in the Maserati Birdcage… and much more.
‘After which I do feel comfortable saying that the event did blown my mind, once again. And I have a faint suspicion it will do so again next year, hope to see you there!’
