If part one of the St Mary’s Trophy race will be remembered for the incredible performance by Tom Kristensen, who took the Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt from last on the grid to first on the podium, then part two will be remembered for the terrific battle between Nick Swift’s Mini and Alex Furiani’s Alfa Romeo 1600 GTA. The Thunderbolt, by the way, took its second out of two victories, this time at the hands of Henry Mann.
