The 2015 St Mary’s Trophy will always be remembered for Tom Kristensen‘s incredible performance in the Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt. Starting from dead last, he muscled the big Ford all the way to the lead. This clip shows him going from third to first, taking Lotus Cortina driver Gordon Shedden by surprise on the start/finish straight and then passing the Alfa 1600 GTA of Frank Stippler very soon after.
