The Richmond Trophy is a wonderful mix of 1950s Grand Prix cars. From Maseratis, to Lancias, Scarabs and Ferraris. Like any race at Goodwood, there’s always going to be some dice-ups, complications and the odd spill.

Video: Double spin in the Richmond Trophy
It’s especially hard to anticipate there being an oil deposit on the way into St Mary’s. Watch, in the video above, as the Lancia D50 of Steve Tillack swerves and spins as he’s transitioning into the turn, sliding across the grass and taking out a marker board before coming to a stop. He’s shortly followed by the number 24 Maserati 250F with Simon Diffey at the wheel. It can get treacherous out there!
