Star lot of the first part of the Bonhams Revival auction on Saturday (10 September) was the 1930/31 Curzon/Howe 24 Hours Le Mans trophy - bidding began at £4000 and after a furious five minutes finished at £17,000 (£21,250 including premium).

Other highlights from the automobilia section of the auction include Enzo Ferrari's office clock, which sold for £6800 (excluding premium), and the original buff registration document for Aston Martin DBR/1 which sold for £1850.
