Happily, the track had just about dried out in time to calm Martin Brundle and Jenson Button’s nerves, as they prepared to tackle the RAC TT Celebration. Sunday of course featured the Victory Parade and was our last chance to hear the fabulous BRM V16s thrumming away and our last chance to see what was an incredible precession of cars Sir Stirling Moss drove in building what is a near-unparalleled legacy in motor racing. An emotional tribute, a long-needed return to racing and an emotional return to the Revival for us all but you know we’ll be back.
Remember, this full day is available on Goodwood Road and Racing for six weeks following the event, after which it joins the extensive GRRC-only archive. Membership is the only way to access decades of incredible Goodwood action.
