Race Twelve – Salvadori Trophy

The final race of the weekend was the Salvadori Cup – a race open to sports racing cars of a type that raced between 1955 and 1960. The race proved a happy hunting ground for Lister ‘Knobblys’, with three of the first four finishers being variations on the famous car.

Race Eleven – Brabham Trophy

The highly competitive Brabham Trophy – for F1 cars which raced between 1954 and 1960 – was not without its fair share of thrills and spills. But in the end it was Gary Pearson in the BRM Type 25 who made the most of his second-place grid position to seal a victory.

Race Ten – Surtees Trophy

A delectable field of sports racing prototypes from 1963 to 1966 took part in the Surtees Trophy, one of the fastest and most competitive races of the weekend.

Race Eight – Peter Collins Trophy

One of the most dramatic races of the 72nd Members’ Meeting, the Peter Collins Trophy featured a range of sports racing cars which were active between 1948 and 1955.

1970s and ’80s Turbocharged F1 Cars – High-Speed Demonstration

For the first time on the Goodwood Motor Circuit, turbocharged Formula One cars from the 1970s and ’80s take part in a high-speed demonstration run. Sit back and enjoy Tolemans, McLarens, Lotuses and Ferraris previously driven by the likes of Prost, Senna and Lauda.

Race Seven – Grover-Williams Trophy

For the first time ever, 25 pre-war Bugattis lined up on the Goodwood Motor Circuit to race in earnest. What a sight. What a sound!

Race Six – Clark-Stewart Cup

Highlights from the highly competitive Clark-Stewart Cup, featuring Formula One, F2 and F3 cars 1960 to 1965. Sam Wilson, making his 1.5-litre Formula One debut at Goodwood, took the win in fine style.

Long-tail sports cars – high-speed demonstration

The pre-1989 Le Mans prototypes provided a high-speed (and we really do mean high-speed) demonstration at the 72nd Members’ Meeting. Emitting a raucous noise, these low-drag monsters were truly a sight to behold.

Race Five – Sears Trophy

The Sears Trophy – for 1959 to 1963 production saloons – provided end to end thrills. From minute Minis to grand Jaguar Mk2s, the sheer variety of this race was something to behold. But who would emerge victorious?

Race Four – Tony Gaze Trophy

A beautiful collection of 1950s production sports and GT cars go head to head for the Tony Gaze Trophy. Here are the highlights from what proved to be a dramatic race.

Race Three – Moss Trophy

Highlights from the Moss Trophy at the Goodwood 72nd Members’ Meeting. A stunning array of sports cars, of a type which raced at the Motor Circuit between 1959 and 1962, do battle into the night.

Race Two – Threlfall Cup

Formula Juniors from the 1950s and ’60s do battle on the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

Race One – Gerry Marshall Trophy

It’s tin-top fever at Goodwood as 1970s and ’80s group 1 touring cars race on the circuit for the first time ever.
