1. The Party (Saturday)
If you have a Saturday ticket then your day of motoring action and off-track entertainment culminates with an incredible Party that you will not want to miss. The fireworks were among the highlights last year – they get started at 21:45hrs.
2. High-speed demos (Saturday/Sunday)
Whether it is ‘high-airbox’ F1 cars or McLaren F1 GTRs that you prefer, both these high-speed demos will be fantastic displays of rare and beautiful racing cars on track (taking place both days).
3. Three-car Handicap Race – IWC Track Moment (Saturday)
A three-car shootout involving three Mercedes cars including a modern Mercedes-AMG F1 car. You will see all three running around the Circuit from a staggered start – this is swiftly becoming a moment not to miss for Saturday visitors. Find out more here.
4. Gerry Marshall Trophy (Saturday/Sunday)
Marvel at the Group 1 touring cars that made the BTCC such a crowd-puller in Britain in the 1970s and early ‘80s, with Capris, SD1s and Camaros expected to battle for honours and the ubiquitous Dolomites, Minis and BMWs chasing their tails – and all in authentic period liveries too.
5. Six Nations (Saturday)
We are showing all three Six Nations games on big screens at Hurricane Lawn, so if you love both motor sport and rugby, this could be Christmas come early…
6. John Aldington Trophy (Sunday)
A capacity grid of 30 stunning Porsche 911s of pre-1967 variety will battle out for victory in the race named in honour of the man widely credited with establishing Porsche’s UK arm. Watch out for an epic father v son battle between touring car racing’s fastest family; Mike and Andrew Jordan.
7. Games (Saturday/Sunday)
There are some incredible Games available to you – all free of charge. Everything from the ordinary (i.e. football free kick, tug of war) to the extraordinary (i.e. duck herding, wrestling moves).
8. Grid Walks (Saturday/Sunday)
It is not often you get to walk on the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit between the cars on the grid, so make sure you take one of the four opportunities across the weekend to do this.
9. Graham Hill Trophy (Saturday)
This two-driver enduro begins at dusk on Saturday night and continues as darkness falls. A sensational line-up of cars, including Jaguar E-types, Corvette Stingrays and some ultra-racer Shelby Daytona Cobras.
10. Prize-giving (Sunday)
Rub shoulders with all the stars and the starry-eyed at the prize-giving ceremony in the Great Hall on Sunday afternoon – who knows who you’ll end up sat next to!
