Gallery: Brooks Trophy for 2.5‑litre Grand Prix cars

A mix of front and rear-engined cars are promised in the Brooks Trophy’s spread of cars from 1954 to 1960. With names such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, Cooper and Lotus, it’s a highly evocative grid.

An incident occurred in the first lap when two vehicles being driven by Richard Wilson and Stephen Bond made contact. Richard Wilson was checked and released from the medical centre and Stephen Bond was taken to hospital with a minor injury.
