It didn’t get much more astonishing than the Weslake Cup at this year’s Members’ Meeting. Astonishing in the sense that these rather unassuming, cutesy looking little sports coupes offered up some of the most exciting racing of the weekend, and in the sense that when those A-series engines spluttered into life, they dropped jaws around them!

Hyperbole aside, they were really really loud. Loud beyond what we think might be possible to convey through a video. But what can be conveyed on video is the quality of the racing, which had everyone on the edge of their seats! There were a few spills, as is always the case when competitors get a bit over-zealous with the less than well-endowed machinery we sometimes host, and it's always a lot of fun!
