The Members’ Meeting will provide the first opportunity for anyone to see the 1,900bhp hyper performance GT outside of the Geneva Motor Show, where the Battista was launched earlier in March.
Boasting speeds on par with current Formula 1 racing machines, the Battista will be furnished with a low-mounted 120kWh liquid-cooled, lithium-ion battery, powering four electric motors – one for each wheel. The result of which produces a combined output of almost 1,900bhp and an astounding 2,300Nm (1,702lb ft) of torque.
With a 0-62mph time under two seconds, and a 0-186mph time of just 12 seconds, the Battista rockets off the line on its way to a top speed of 217mph.
Accompanying the Battista will be Nick Heidfeld, Automobili Pininfarina’s Test and Development Driver and holder of the record for the fastest Goodwood hill climb, alongside Rene Wollmann, the brand’s Programme Director Sportscars, who moves to Automobili Pininfarina from Mercedes where he was responsible for development of the Mercedes-AMG Project One.
