The Goodwood Circuit welcomed Jaguar and guests recently for some important pre-Mille Miglia practise. It was tough not spilling the beans about who Jaguar had invited to drive some of its heritage fleet on the historic Brescia-Rome-Brescia event, but now they’ve gone public we can confirm that Jaguar’s Heritage Racing Driver line-up includes…
World famous petrolhead Jay Leno in an ex-Ecurie Ecosse XK120 Roadster, actor Jeremy Irons in another XK120 Roadster, singer Amy Macdonald in an XK140, model Jodie Kidd in the XK120 driven last year by Daniel Day-Lewis, and AC/DC front man Brian Johnson and Le Mans winner Andy Wallace in C-Types, whilst Martin Brundle and Bruno Senna get arguably the most enviable task of sharing a long-nose D-Type.
Sounds like they’re all going to have a lot of fun on what’s known as ‘The most beautiful race in the world.’ We can’t wait to let you know how this year’s Mille Miglia unfolds.
