It’s that time of year again when those lucky enough to be invited to race at Revival look to sneak in any testing at Goodwood they can to be totally ready.
On our track today is Revival racer Gavin Henderson, here with several cars due to be taking part in the event in just over five weeks time.
If you remember the name it may be because he’s a serial Goodwood racer, or because we’ve met Gavin before and photographed his incredible GT40 for our Goodwood Greats series, which you can see here. That car is back out today and will be racing in the Whitsun Trophy on Revival Saturday.
Also featured in the gallery above is the Alan Mann liveried Lotus Cortina, which will be raced by Gavin’s son Rory and BTCC race-winner Matt Jackson in the St Mary’s Trophy, and the Jaguar C-Type that father and son will race together in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy.
Of course that’s not all that’s on track, alongside the Revival machinery is an always spectacular Mini, drifting its way through the chicane every lap, and some beautiful pre-war racers. You will also spot a Lotus Elan in the mix, with non-other than our own lap-record holder Nick Padmore at the wheel
With Revival getting closer and closer you can expect more galleries like the one above over the coming weeks as our drivers strive to gain every last tenth.
