January 19th: The Scottsdale Auction, The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, Scottsdale, Arizona. Highlights include the ex-Bob Jane 1963 Australian GT championship winning Jaguar E-type, a 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 (estimate £2.3-2.7m) and lots of Ferraris including an ex-Scuderia 1952 340 America Spider Competizione (£6.1-7.3m).
January 26th: The Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction, Rio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada.
February 9th: Les Grandes Marques du Monde, The Grand Palais, Paris. Star lot is the 1935 Aston Martin Ulster ‘CML 719’ (£1.4-1.5m), one of seven Ulster works cars and ex-Le Mans. Other highlights comprise cars from all the great marques, plus surprises such as the ex-Jean Ragnotti Renault 5 Turbo Group B works rally car that was sixth overall in the 1985 Tour de Corse (estimate £170-260,000).
March 9th: The Amelia Island Auction, Fernandina Beach Golf Club. Last year a 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Sports Tourer sold for US$9.7 million.
