Different cars have different purposes, right? Seems pretty obvious. A sportscar is for fun, an estate is for load-lugging, a people-carrier does what it says on the tin. Likewise, a racing car is just that – built exclusively for and is largely useless beyond, the job of racing. Tell that to these guys who thought a Metro 6R4 rally car would be an appropriate car to potter to the shops for a pint of milk. Mind you, a 6R4 or something of the like might have a chance against Britain’s pothole epidemic...
