We often see Richard Woolmer at various states of traction loss. It seems he is permanently in a sideways state on track. Certainly, his performance at the 77th Members’ Meeting in this no. 38 Austin-Healey 100 Coupe didn’t disappoint.

Dodging AC Ace-Bristols and Jaguar XK150 FHCs he is chased by fellow Healey driver Mike Thorne. Sliding and dancing around each other, they exchange positions in one seriously hot lap – the Woolmer car can be differentiated from the Thorne car with the distinctive silver speedback-style hardtop.
