Not all rally cars are created equal. While it is pretty much true that in order to compete at the top level of the World Rally Championship a car must be one of the most capable around that doesn’t mean it’s a good [ITALS] rally [/ITALS] car.

For example, the Hyundai Accent WRC was capable of tackling some of the world’s most fearsome rally stages, but to compare it to the Peugeot 206 WRC of a similar era would be a little bit of a travesty.
We’ve decided to pick our favourites from the last few decades of WRC competitions, and they’re not necessarily the most successful, some of these are just so brilliant they drilled their image into our brains, successful or not.
