The successor to the revolutionary 206 WRC was always going to have to work hard to prove its worth, and while it didn’t exactly make the most adept of rally cars, the 307 WRC could certainly shred some rubber on the mountainside. In fact, despite famously saying that ‘The only good thing about this car was its engine,’ Finnish driver Marcus Grönholm still managed to win three rallies in it.
Watch as it tears up and down the narrow mountain roads, spinning around the tight bends, that turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four growling and spitting harmoniously.
