We always find ourselves drawn to historic racing at Goodwood Road & Racing, and the Mugello Classic is one of those rare opportunities to experience some of the best racing cars of all time hitting the track at proper racing speeds.

Of course, we’ve experienced our fair share of historic motorsport at Goodwood Revival, and there are a few familiar machines dotted around the Mugello paddocks, including the fabulously orange Jägermeister Zakspeed Capri, but the range of incredible machinery on show here is still staggering. The sight of mighty Can-Am Lolas, Porsche Le Mans legends, fire-spitting BMW M1s and a quite beautiful Ferrari 312P Berlinetta weaving their way around Mugello in the midst of the stunning Tuscan countryside is not to be missed – the sound is pretty good, too, especially the V12 scream of a Ferrari 333SP.
