In case you hadn’t noticed, the GRR team has just come back from a weekend at the Spa Classic. As we’re all still a little bit sad that we’re no longer in the wonderful confines of the Ardennes Forest watching stunning racing cars fly around a classic track, we need a way to recapture that wonderful weekend.
Video: Ride onboard a classic 911 at Mugello
Well. Peter Auto – which organises the Spa Classic – thankfully puts on a series of events through the year and regularly posts content from them on its YouTube channel. So three minutes of a classic Porsche 911 being flung around Mugello is the perfect tonic for us.
One of the series that Peter Auto runs at its events is the 2.0-litre Cup, a series for just those earliest of Porsches. They are possibly the slidiest machines ever to have raced, so any onboard is a fascinating watch, especially around the rollercoaster confines of Mugello.
A watch of this hasn’t fully cured our post-Spa blues. But it’s certainly an excellent start.
